About the event
This event is designed to expose people of all experiences to martial arts techniques that can be potentially life saving in a self defense situation. Specifically, we will go over “What to do in sticky situations” and how to “Escape by utilizing grab, knee , teep.” & “Push, kick, run.” Participants can expect a demonstration of the aforementioned techniques, which will include; how to properly throw them, the appropriate situation to utilize them in, and effective ways to practice said techniques. Additionally, everyone who signs up can expect the opportunity to drill with others from their community. The only thing that is mandatory is the will to learn & a bottle of water.
Bring boxing gloves, muay thai shin guards, & a mouth guard if you have them. If not, that it more than okay!
